Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) for Home Nursing Services and Clinics
Responsibilities
- Assist doctor in minor surgical procedures
- Perform venepuncture
- Perform IM injection (for Registered Nurse)
- Dispense medication
- Perform clinical measurement such as height, weight, visual acuity, blood pressure, and ECG
- Issue and respond to Code Blue situations and be familiar with emergency care
- Manage patients’ medical reports
- Maintain effective communication with patients and other members of the team to ensure that patients’ needs are met
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Understand well health and safety guidelines and procedures (eg. sanitation and decontamination)
- Maintain clinic hygiene and infection control standards
- Any other responsibilities & tasks assigned by Clinic Supervisor/Clinic Manager/Operations Manager
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care and procedures
- Preferably 2 years of hospital ward experience
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) licence
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support + Automated
- External Defibrillator (BCLS + AED) certificate
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)
Clinic Assistant
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent frontline customer service, including registration of patients, handling phone calls and appointment scheduling
- Support doctor during in-clinic procedures and serve as chaperone when required
- Assist in clinical measurement such as height, weight, visual acuity, blood pressure, and ECG (training will be provided)
- Handle specimens and liaise with laboratories
- Dispense medication
- Ensure daily check of consumables in doctor’s consulting and treatment rooms are sufficient (and replenish if necessary)
- Assist Nurse Manager in checking and managing inventory
- Assist in administrative duties such as invoices and payment collection
- Ensure accurate and prompt submission of claims to government agencies and corporate partners
- Maintain the clinic’s cleanliness and tidy appearance
- Any other duties as assigned
- Ability to perform blood taking for tests will be an advantage
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline; or GCE A/O/N Level/Higher NITEC in Service Skills
- Certificate in Healthcare Support preferred
- Prior relevant working experience in the healthcare or medical industry will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and e-mail
- Proficient in spoken English and Mandarin
- A team player with good interpersonal skills
General Practitioner (GP)
Responsibilities
- Provide General Practice (GP) medical services; diagnosis/treatment of illnesses/ailments
- Perform minor procedures and treatments in the family practice setting
- Perform vaccinations
- Perform phlebotomy
- Conversant with relevant acts, rules and regulations, as well as government orders that may be in force and ensure full compliance by doctors and clinical staff
Requirements
- Possess at least a medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school
- Have at least 2 years of working experience in a related field
- Registered with the Singapore Medical Council

More about Dr Lin
Dr Lin Kai Wei graduated from University of Sheffield (UK) in 1997. He practised in the UK for 2 years before returning to Singapore.
He has been practising Family Medicine for nearly 20 years, seeing both local and expatriate patients. He has completed the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine and is a member of the College of Family Physicians in Singapore.
He also holds a Masters in Biomedical Science (Australia). Dr Lin is accredited by the Public Guardian as a legally qualified medical practitioner to issue Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) Certificates.
Dr Lin is experienced in various aspects of Family Medicine including health screening, care of chronic conditions, men’s health, paediatrics, travel medicine, minor surgery, and treating young children and babies.
